Holiday Inn Bloomsbury

I've heard that accommodation in London is very small, but my room was more than adequate. It was warm when we were there and the AC worked great. Really no negatives at all - a really good find.

The hotel lobby was very nice and the staff was very courteous and helpful. The breakfast was great. I loved the sunny side up eggs and ham. Unfortunately, the coffee was so bad I couldn't drink it. In addition, my room overlooked an ugly courtyard in the middle of the hotel. It would be nice if there was some greenery out there. The worst thing was that I internet cost 15 euros and I had to get on the internet. I would probably not stay at this hotel again. read more

I would describe it as a perfectly good place to stay with family or for business. I had 2 separate people from the hotel staff enter my hotel room while there was a Do Not Disturb knocker hanging on the door. The bed was fine, the staff at the hotel was unhelpful. But fundamentally, the place itself isn't bad. It kind of embodies the bland regularizes that the name Holiday Inn kind of suggests. Perfectly middle of the road place. read more

I have stayed in 5 other hotels in London. This hotel or any Holiday Inn, in London for that matter was the best by far. Location was excellent with tube station across the street and close proximity to Covent Garden and Museums. Exceptionally modern and clean, and staff especially concierge was especially helpful and efficient. I am recommending this Holiday Inn and others in London that I have seen to friends and family. This was an excellent hotel for the money; very modern, nice decor, good amenities.

Excellent location, close to underground station. Very awkward elevators, breakfast buffet offered for purchase on registration, our room seemed to be over some kind of recycling which was quite noisy throughout the day.
