The concierge was always there when you needed him and the location was right next to the rail station.
We had a problem with our day trip plans and they didn't try to let us know.
We loved the location, and the cncierge was great. Were disappointed when e had unexpected problems with our day trip plans and the front desk knew about the alternate arrangements, but didn't even try to locate us to let u know. Found out when we asked to use their phone.

Room service dinner was delicious.
They gym was gross and dirty.
Being near the train station was convenient, however I was driving and parking at the hotel cost $20 a day, which I though was a bit of a rip. The gym consisted of 2 grubby treadmills, 3 exercise bikes and a TV. Right next to the gym equipment was 2 hot tubs that reeked of chlorine and resembled steaming pools. Whenever my parents and I called room service for sugar, as my parents and I drink coffee, they would bring us about 4 packs, for 3 people. So we had to keep calling! On the upside, the Take-Inn food was very tasty and good sized portions. The location is very central. read more

Train noise bothersome.

Convenient to train station.
Hotel elevators were very close to street and area was not great.
A moderate hotel conveniently located next to Brisbane Travel Center which is good for train/coach access. Facilities are comfortable but dated. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel restaurant was very average. About a 15 minute walk to main tourist area of town. Don't think I would stay here again on any future visit to Brisbane.

Good location.
Great location next to transit terminal. Short 10 minute walk to Shopping District. Quiet rooms. Staff need more training on local information.
