Located in the center of everything.
Had to pay for parking.

The Hotel was great for the money. Good informative staff and the rooms were comfortable and large. Located in the center of the city, I expected to pay for parking but the total cost was more that I would have guessed. But we parked the car and used the mass transit which was less than 1 block away. We had 5 in our party and each person was satisfied with the hotel.

It was right in the center of everything.
One of the staff at the desk was very rude.

Very much dug it. I hate to stay it, but try to steer clear of the short guy behind the desk. Rude.

It was in a central location.
It was hard to spot the motel out, coming in, not enough signs.

I had a great stay. If I go back to Charlotte I will use this motel again and I will tell friends about it too.

Very clean, friendly staff and good location.
Parking garage was a public garage, not convenient for hotel self parking.

The hotel was better than expected in its overall condition, location and staff friendliness.

Very centrally located, esp. if you have business in area. 1 block from Discovery Place.
Very noisy, 4AM emergency fire drill, only 1 restaurant, nearly no amenities.

You are basically paying for the downtown address. It costs more than other locations (airport, UNC) and is far more basic. Only 1 little restaurant with a very basic buffet breakfast, thin scratchy towels, hard lumpy pillows, very loud echoing hallways (you hear every single door slam shut and every single person in the halls, adjoining rooms or sidewalk). If you want to walk to the Discovery Place or Bobcats Arena or a corporate office nearby and you need a cheaper option and can sleep through noise (including an hour-long false alarm emergency at 4AM), perfect. Otherwise go with the Omni, Radisson or go further a field. read more
