Comfortable rooms.
Front desk follow up.

Had to call to front desk at 3:30 am because of people slamming doors and screaming in the hallway - this continued until 6:45 am. I consider this a lack of follow up by the hotel.

The hotel was very clean, and the restaurant was good and reasonably priced.

The hotel was cleaner than several I have stayed in recently. The staff was friendly. The view was good. The restaurant on the top floor was very good and the prices were excellent.

The restaurant view was gorgeous.
Repeated power failures.

Terrible, simply terrible. Power failures each of the two days there. AC power circuit breaker had to be reset. Keys failed on return from breakfast. Two towels left for three people. Dried snot found on bathroom wall. Internet only available on two machines in the lobby.

Beautiful view of the river.

The circular design made it easy for me to find my way to and from the hotel. This is the first time I stayed on the Riverview side of Charleston.
