wish there were at least three computers. Here there was one computer in the biz center(!) but no chair. Otherwise, things were very good; excellent staff and very good restaurant.

It was not very clean. Our room smelt as if it had been a smoking room and had been treated to a room freshener - a very chemical smell.

A good location - 4 miles to Monticello and 3 miles to historic center. The restaurant and bar area are sad, in need of redecoration and the overall hotel and rooms are not very clean. With the exception of one evening receptionist, who recommended a restaurant, the staff was disinterested. As I left she didn't even ask if we had enjoyed our stay - I had to call her back and when I said the hotel room was not very clean she just shrugged. read more

The staff was very friendly.
The air conditioning labored all night, and didn't cool the room well.

This hotel is convenient to the highway, and is a quick, ten-minute drive from downtown Charlottesville. It's a very good combination of convenience and price.
