Friendly staff. Except for the third shift desk clerk. Not a bad experience with the person. Just short and sweet - who are you , here is your key.
No condiments for the coffee in the room. Only one wash cloth.

The garden was beautiful. The trains on site and the historical setting were charming.
The pool at the building we were housed in was under construction.

I enjoyed the overall experience, although the building we stayed in looked a little run down. Our room was fine, the beds were great and the bathroom fixtures were updated. Loved the garden area, and enjoyed being in a historical setting.

Good price, location and nice sized rooms.
Exercises room needs new working equipment, the pizza restaurant and some shops need updating.

Would stay again although hope to see some more improvements.

Easy access to downtown.
Sliding door not in good working order. Indoor pool kept way to hot.

This room was not exactly kid friendly. There was not a microwave for patrons to use. The TV had no AV inputs for a DVD player.

Older hotel in need of refurbishing. Convenient location with easy access to free electric buses to downtown area. Train theme & memorabilia is of interest.

Historical, unique setting.
Rundown, room so smelly we couldn't walk in-got moved to another that was ok.

Need improvements, upgrades. Smells terrible. Water in showers is too variable (hot then cold).

I worked at this hotel for nine years you don't want to hear the negatives.
We were locked out of the room on our first full day there. We had to get a new computer key.

I've worked and stayed at this hotel previously. The hot tub was lukewarm, and the pools too cold - they have three swimming pools.

Balconies, trains, pools.
The lobby had a nasty odor.

I was wonderfully surprised with the 14 acres of land, and thrilled that I got the nicest hotel. I would love to go here again. Some rooms were in train cars, there were shops and flower gardens everywhere. The lobby was an old train station. I felt like I had gone back in history and did not want to leave.
