Clean rooms, helpful staff, centrally located.
The free breakfast buffet I enjoy at other hotels.
This is a nice place to stay in a less-than-desirable neighborhood that happens to be centrally located. I would recommend this hotel to business and family travelers.

Beautiful lobby.
Moldy caulking in the bathroom, dirty carpets, inaccurate descriptions of pool hours and parking on the web.
Lovely lobby area, carpets and bathrooms are disgusting. The staff was 50/50 some very helpful and friendly, others were curt and dismissive.

Ugly, very odd staff not helpful and shorthanded.
This would be a hotel of last resort - like the only one standing. Rooms were dated, shower/bath fixtures didn't work properly, sliding doors gushed cold air, barely a thin cotton blanket provided just awful!

Convenient, for what we came to SF to do.
Horrible neighborhood - walking around there can be dangerous at night.
While not a luxury hotel, the accommodations are clean and welcoming. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Of course, it isn't the fault of the hotel that it is centered in a very ugly part of town, but that is precisely where we needed to be, so it is convenient.

The gentleman that checked us in was great. He told us about several eating options and was very helpful.
The pool was not open.
The stay was great; I will tell all of my friends about this hotel. And we ordered pillows and they were very fluffy.

Attention to service, immaculate linens,
Extra payment for parking. Small bathroom.
It is right in the heart of town. You must pay $27/day for parking in addition to the room. The bathroom was a bit small, and bottom of the bathroom door could use some help but overall clean, older grand, clean sheets every day, choice of pillows and a very nice room service, food brought on table with linens. We were comfortable.

View of next building and trash area.
Great location for visitors exploring the city. Clean and well kept, but older so comparatively inexpensive. Good housekeeping and friendly staff.
