Location. Right in downtown.
They only had a smoking room available. The room smelled like cigarette smoke. Very unpleasant.

By a noisy rail line.

My first assigned room did not smell too pleasant. It was unfortunately located by the elevator and an active cargo railroad. As a light sleeper you can imagine how discomforting that was. I requested for another room further from the elevator, but still had to battle to sleep with the noisy railroad. My next experience would be to request a room on the other side of the railroad and definitely further away from the elevator. The staff was very receptive to my request to change my room and that was really kind. read more

It location worked well for my travels.

I'm glad I'm not there anymore.
Freight train runs by constantly, not a good night sleep at all, horrible.

Great hotel to stay at if you love to listen to freight trains all night long when you are normally trying to sleep. But don't worry the trains don't seem to run during the morning or day. Only at night when you are trying to sleep. I swear to you I am not exaggerating!

Parking lot not right by entrance.

Very nice to come home to after a long day; slept comfortably. Easy checkout in the am.

Spacious room.
The lobby as well as the elevator and hallways smelled like animals.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless they were traveling with animals. Also, I had a hard time finding a parking space in their lot.

Room service was efficient and tasty.
Housekeeping was pretty relaxed.

Super convenient. Right off freeway in town. Nice place - manager quickly made right something that had gone wrong. Would definitely stay again.

It was very easy to locate and get checked in.
You could not open the windows.

Its was a nice hotel overall, the rooms were very clean the only thing I did not like was that you could not open the window.

Rooms need updating.

This hotel is conveniently located in the downtown area of Cumberland, close to Lavale and Frostburg. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable, but the decor is old and tired.
