Staff offer assistance but allow you to reject or accept their help. Allowing guests independence and decision-making is unusual and considerate.
Breakfast included would have been good.
Excellent service and obliging assistance. Nothing was too much trouble. We were able to check in early and out late without fuss. Room was large and pleasant. I liked being able to open the window especially as our air con was noisy. The spaces were wisely used, the lighting versatile, the bathroom clean and serviceable and the towels beautiful. The labeling of pillows and pleasant/amusing sign age were so good I photographed them. I liked the concern for the environment and considerate recognition of differing needs. A very pleasant stay - too short. read more

Friendly Staff.
Small room by the loud elevator.
Did not sleep well due to the location of the room by the elevator. It kept us up all night.

It is convenient to get to this hotel using the Canada Line from the airport and also was convenient to Cruise Line Depot.
We had a room with a very crummy view - razor wire and parking lot.
Very convenient to get to from the airport and to get to the cruise line depot. Central with lots of amenities. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff were very helpful. Would gladly use this hotel again.

The location and the beds.
The bathroom.
This hotel is in a fantastic location! It's just a three-block walk to shopping on Robson Street, and we also walked to both Gastown and Yaletown (probably 20-25 minute walks each). The staff was great and the room was nice, with very comfortable beds. Our one complaint was the bathroom. It was clean, but it was entirely white tile with the brightest, most obnoxious white fluorescent light I've ever seen. It was headache-inducing. To top it off, the fan in there sounded like a cyclone. So, showering and sitting on the pot were not at all relaxing experiences. Luckily the sink/vanity were out in the room, so we only had to be in the bathroom for showers and toilet use. Overall it was a small price to pay for a good room in a great location. read more

The shuttle bus sales desk extremely helpful.
Never got internet - I missed an important meet up.
I cannot understand why so many hotels claim to have wireless internet and do not. Even in the lobby I could not get a thing, and hotel staff just referred me to tech support. So I missed an email when we arrived that someone knowledgeable about real estate in the area wanted to have coffee with me right away and could have moved my whole purpose for the trip ahead. If they just said from the outset - internet here is poor I would have gone to a cafe. read more

Huge room, good location, attentive and friendly staff.
The TV remote didn't work and couldn't be fixed!
