Located in Historic Downtown Durango the Holiday Inn is conveniently located just 1 block off of Historic Main Street. The hotel offers guests the convienence of easy access to shopping, dining, and galleries as well as many exciting activities. The world famous Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad is just 5 short blocks from the hotel and a very easy walk. The beautiful Animas river flows behind the hotel giving guests wonderful scenery as well as a 3 mile river walk. Our indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, and fitness center are sure to help you to relax and recharge. The Applebees Neighborhood Grill and Bar offers wonderful food choices for any meal of the day. Right in the middle of town and close to points of interest. Apple bee association was great for free kids meals. Nice pool.
Front hotel parking was a big dangerous.

Pretty standard 2.5 star motel. 2-bed room was clean but not particularly spacious. Being next to the Applebee was very convenient, but that did away with free breakfast (only for kids with paying adults). Generally a nice facility but slightly older than others. Parking was plentiful but was full that night we were there.

The room was very nice.
The parking was terrible.

I enjoyed my stay. I stayed at this hotel due to a scheduled out surgery early the next morning. I live 2.5 hours away from the hospital. I was not very too pleased when we needed to extend the stay for 1 more night because the hospital needed to keep me and they would not honor the disc rate.
