Stay at the new Holiday Inn St. Paul East, just renovated June 2008! We are now completely smoke-free. Welcome to the Holiday Inn 3M Center St. Paul! Attractions nearby include: 3M Center (adjacent), State Capitol, Mall of America, Science Museum of Minnesota, RiverCentre, Xcel Center, Battle Creek Water Park (seasonal), HHH Metrodome, and the Minneapolis Convention Center. The Holiday Inn St. Paul East Hotel is conveniently located adjacent to 3M International Headquarters, 5 miles from Downtown St. Paul including the St. Paul RiverCentre, Xcel Centre and State Capitol, and just 13 miles from both the Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport (MSP), Mall of America and downtown Minneapolis. I liked the pool area. Decent sized pool and hot tub.

The hotel staff were very heplful. I needed to send and receive faxes to get insurance for a trailer I bought. They helped make this a simple process.

It was cozy, had a great restaurant & bar, was right on I-94.
Far from the action - you would have to cab or drive to go downtown.

It was far nicer than we had expected (considering the price) - such a comfortable and clean stay! They were big on customer service and it was nice to have a good, reasonably priced restaurant right in the hotel.

The hotel common spaces & room were very clean and attractive. It was right off the highway, easy to get on and off. Quiet.

The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on!
The hotel bar had a stale smoke smell, outdated furnishings.

The hotel room looked newly remodeled and updated. Spacious room & bathroom. The mattress was the most comfortable mattress we have ever slept on, you will not want to get out of bed the next morning! The hotel bar area was spacious but outdated, very smoky. We did not swim but the pool area looked inviting.

There air conditioning was broken in our room and the staff was unprofessional, it was a horrible experience!

The air conditioning was broken in our room, we couldn't open the window because it was screwed shut. Our room was 75 degrees! The staff was not very helpful or professional. We ended up switching rooms at 3:00 am. It was a two hour process to determine that the thermostat was broken and that they were going to give us another room. We were exhausted and very upset.

Front desk was extremely helpful.
Pool was tiny. No WiFi in rooms.

Great place, close to highway. Rooms were really clean, modern. Awesome large fridge in the room for snacks. Lobby was inviting. Great bar/restaurant. Desk clerks were really great and helpful.
