Holiday Inn Express Arlington Heights

Very attractive lobby. Handy, accessible microwave on ground floor. Shiny tile floor in bathroom. Not a great Atkins breakfast, but a few hardboiled eggs were nice to add to a McDonald¿s double cheeseburger.

Every thing was grate the room, the staff; I would stay there again anytime.

Very clean. Good response to calls. Very friendly staff. In fact, my mother finally arrived and when I came down to get her, she was gone. One staff member said she went to get her purse from the van, just then I saw her and said rats, I was going to take her suitcase and hide, the two staff members said, hurry, go around the corner. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The only problem was at check in. I arrived at 1:30pm and was told no rooms were clean yet. Only 2 other guests were waiting to check in. A room wasn't cleaned and available for me until 3:40. The reality was housekeeping wasn't communicating with the front desk and visa versa.

Overall great. I spoke with one gentleman that I asked if it were possible that I switch to a nonsmoking room and he said no. However, I did not see that many people around that would leave me to believe that the non-smoking rooms would be full. Not a huge deal, but I felt as if I was just being fed a line to make his life easier. Overall, I was very pleased and would return to the hotel. read more

I don't need to bring my hairdryer. Their breakfast is good. Room size is same as the Motel6, and the bathroom is smaller than Motel6. And I found there was some trash under the bed. But I still like to choose Holiday Inn Express.
