The staff was very helpful in finding us transportation and helping us find various destinations throughout Beijing.
The location was pretty far from anything significant, and was not in the best neighborhood.

It was very good for the price, and met my expectations from the description, reviews, and ratings. I would stay here again if I was still looking for hotels in my price range, but would much rather stay somewhere closer to the center of the city.

Superb value for the price paid.
Decorative ashtrays at elevators are safety hazards for young children. Cut glass looks like candy.

The hotel was an exceptional value. Its major handicap was that it was not near a Beijing subway station. This handicap was offset by the fact that its location in a residential section of Beijing gave an opportunity to see Chinese in a residential setting. There was, however, a serious potential hazard in that decorative ashtray stands by the elevators looked like a bowl of rock candy, with small, sharp edged cut glass giving the appearance of being rock candy. The Chinese must not have rock candy in China. read more
