Holiday Inn Express Elizabethtown

The staff at this hotel was exceptionally friendly. They were eager to please and very professional. Parking was great and within good distance of the hotel which works out well in inclement weather. We asked for a non-smoking room and there was a non-smoking decal at the door, but there was such a strong cigarette smell in the hallways that it nearly gagged you when you stepped off of the elevators. There were non-smoking rooms situated with smoking rooms all around them on our floor. The venting system pulled the smoke into the room. Other than that, the breakfast buffet was very good. This hotel was perfect for the length of stay for us. Close to the destinations we were headed to.

Overall it was nice, but it reeked of cigarette smoke.

This hotel was very nice for the price. The lobby appeared to be very clean (I was too tired to really notice). Our room was very clean and quiet, with adequate towels and bath amenities. There was no refrigerator in the room. That would have been nice. The air conditioner was a bit noisy but hotel AC's usually are. Excellent service and clean room. Bed very comfortable with a "Blanket" to cover one when you watch TV.

The hotel was worth the stay. The room could have been a little more spacious and had a fridge, but it all worked out in the end.

Our hotel room, hotel lobby, entrance, etc. were very clean and smelled clean. Gladys, there was no odor of cigarette smoke in any part of the hotel that we were in. The great room in which breakfast was served was also kept very clean and breakfast was great. There was a wide variety of breakfast foods, which was great for picky eaters like our children. I will definitely stay there again when I am up that direction. It was clean, friendly and convenient to everyplace I wanted to go. The staff was courteous and friendly. I give it three stars, at least!

I've stayed at this hotel many times before and this was my first unpleasant stay. I could not pin point the odor in the room until I realized the next morning that there was mold on the curtains. I was very disappointed that it didn't seem to phase the receptionist at the counter when I explained what I found.
