Shared highway access with a shopping mall.

Likes or dislikes are quite subjective. This is a well run and conveniently located hotel delivering outstanding value for most any traveler.

It was clean and people were friendly.
No pool or restaurant/bar. But that's not a big deal to me.

Very nice place that was clean. Courteous staff. Would definitely stay there again.

The staff was well informed about local sites of interest including civil war battles. Advised us on restaurants and made reservations for us.
Nowhere to sit outside!

This hotel is clean, well run with an excellent staff. Breakfast was very good. It is well-situated - five minutes from the historic center, seconds from the highways to get to the civil War sites, Gettysburg, Antietam and Manasas in Frederick. The staff, who are well-informed, took the time to print out instructions to each site.

The location of it to where we needed to be.
It was disgusting and filthy and downright scary.

The lobby was deceiving. It was nice and the staff was quasi-friendly. We were not expecting big things in Frederick, MD. This hotel was way below satisfactory conditions, the room was smoky and just downright dirty, as were all the rooms. I would never go back there.

The room was damp and moldy, corridor carpets were dirty.

I would not stay here again. The room was damp and the air conditioner had a moldy smell. The corridor carpets were stained and dirty. This hotel was rated as high as a Hampton Inn. It belongs with other one or two star hotels.
