The Holiday Inn Express Hotel Gas City, the most recently built hotel in Grant County, is a tastefully decorated 70 room hotel located off I-69 just 45 minutes north of Indianapolis, IN and 45 minutes south of Ft. This hotel was clean and appeared to be very new. Good breakfast and pool.

This hotel was great. It was very clean in both the room and the common areas. The pool was indoors and my kids loved going swimming in November. The pool was pretty shallow which was great for young children. The breakfast in the morning had lots of hot items and varied a little every morning that we were there. It suited our needs perfectly and we were traveling with five young children. We will stay there again. read more

The hotel was clean.
The hotel appeared to need a few updates.

Not all of the lights in the room worked. The bathroom door was warped and would not shut. The lamp shade fringe was torn and hanging. The television options were limited. The shower head was clogged interrupting a brisk flow of water. The chairs were heavily stained in my daughters room.

Breakfast buffet was good both in quality and variety.
The carpets could stand to be cleaned.

Despite its rural location, this hotel provides the customer with an over all positive experience. Exercise room is good. Pool nice. Breakfast buffet a huge plus, but appropriate for the price. I've stayed here twice and enjoyed my stay both times.

I have stayed at this hotel several times because it meets my needs for breakfast, a clean room and a relaxing pool. The location near Taylor University is very convenient.
