The staff.
The toxic condition of the room.

The hotel on the outside and the lobby were very nice, however the room was very toxic and the staff was unable to change it. So we left and went down the road to a very nice hotel.

It was clean. The staff was friendly.
Aggravations : the room phone did not work. the tub stopper was broken. Loud kids woke me up after hours.

It was a perfectly nice hotel if room functions had been maintained. As it was, my room phone did not work, the bathwater stopping lever was broken, and the AC/heat unit didn't work. These things are not welcome when you are looking to get away from aggravation. I was also awakened after hours by a group of loud kids.(A call to the front desk did take care of that.)

All rooms should be non smoking. We were in a smoking room and it did smell.

Great location, free breakfast and free WiFi.

The rooms are fairly large with nice amenities. The room had a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. The common areas of the hotel were well kept and the lounge/breakfast area was pleasant and sufficiently large for adequate seating. The staff was very helpful and housekeeping did a fine job.

It is conveniently located and less noisy than expected being so close to the highway.
The hotel entrance from the highway was short/abrupt.

We had a nice stay. The bedding was plush and comfortable - they use triple-sheeting on top with a padded/quilted sheet in between two regular sheets. The breakfast was scaled down the day we were there compared with the description and photos on-line. We were not woken up early by trucks or highway noise like we thought we might be, thanks to being up on the fifth floor with window closed and A/C. It was surprisingly quite in the room. read more
