I would like to have all staff be able to speak English

You could not ask for nicer staff, it is always clean. They are on top of any needs that a person might have and they have always given us top rate service. Great food for the breakfast and very sanitary conditions which are very important to me.

Housekeeping staff was
not trained.

The water in the toilet was almost to the top and tissue was floating in it. This was the room cleaner's problem which they did not address and just closed the lid. When the desk was contacted we were told no maintenance was on-site and a plunger would be sent to the room for us to plunge the toilet. Also was told no other room was available to us.

Very friendly staff, clean, great tub, yummy cinnamon rolls, and cool toiletries.
The room decor i.e. Sofa bedspread were a bit dark and not attractive.

I didn't expect much in Barstow. This was nice. It was next to the outlet mall and very clean. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was pleasant and the breakfast was good.
