Pleasantly surprised how modern it was for a Holiday Inn Express.
Pleasantly surprised how modern it was for a Holiday Inn Express. Conveniently located right near out destination and central to most sightseeing in that area. Impressed.

Friendly & helpful staff, very clean, nice breakfast.
The staff was very friendly and helpful and the facility was clean and well kept. A great choice for a moderate price. The location was within easy walking distance of all the hollywood sights including the Hollywood Bowl.

The beds were very comfy.
Free breakfast wasn't great and the pool was cold.

The rooms are clean and spacious. Internet access is provided and the location is less than a mile from Hollywood Blvd.
Check in time is at 3:00, which is somewhat late in the day, IMO.
Our room was clean and comfortable with a sofa/lounge area, microwave/fridge area and a nice, clean bathroom and lots of pillows on the bed. The TV was a large flat screen and several cable channels were provided. The location is convenient - less than a mile away from Hollywood Blvd. I was pleasantly surprised in almost every aspect. My only real complaint is that check in is at 3:00, which is a bit late in the day when you've just hopped off of an early flight. read more

Close to Kodak theatre and Hollywood blvd.
Good choice for business travelers. Having to take 2 elevators to get to my room was a drag.

Great staff, actual cable TV and the free breakfast and facilities are excellent.
The expensive parking price $22 a night.
Hollywood Holiday Inn Suite was a great place to stay at a fairly reasonable price for the area. The room was very nice with a comfortable bed and cable TV. They also have a free breakfast buffet that was pretty good, my only dislike was the parking price was pretty expensive.

The location was great - right off the freeway, close to attractions & restaurants. Friendly staff, clean rooms and free breakfast!
I didn't like paying extra for parking. I didn't like switching elevators to get to my room.
Me, my husband and 12 yr old daughter stayed the weekend and wanted to be central to all. We were 20 min. from the beach and walking distance to the Walk of Fame and Chinese Theater. We were also blocks from a nice hiking spot called Runyon Canyon. There is also a great Sushi Restaurant across the street from the hotel. We had fun in the pool and enjoyed the express breakfast and gym. The room was clean and we had wireless internet. The staff was nice and they were helpful. Thanks! read more

Everything was new and clean.
Felt parking was overpriced and not many spots available.
Overall, we would stay here again because the rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The only downside was the parking situation. I felt that it was overpriced ($20 plus city tax of $2) and at one point we had to go in reverse just to get the attention of the parking attendant to find us a space because the level we were supposed to park on was all full. I would recommend this hotel for its location, especially if you are planning a trip to Universal Studios.
