Very nice newly built hotel and still smelled new. Very clean and comfortable. Parking a bit cramped, but not a huge deal since we have a small car. Have a small child and didn't feel like I had to worry about her touching things and getting dirty which is a HUGE plus.

None.

Will definitely recommend this hotel. It is almost a brand new hotel in the area. Things inside the hotel rooms are pretty stylish. Bathroom is nice, stylish, clean and bright. The only thing is that it does not have a hair-dryer in the bathroom.

The hotel is only 4 months old; the rooms were clean and spacious.
The parking is wholly inadequate; our car was damaged in the garage.

The hotel sits on the main drag coming into Santa Cruz, CA. It is relatively new, with clean, spacious rooms. The hotel offers a continental breakfast, but unless you get up at 6 A.M. don't expect to get anything to eat; there were lots of families and hardly any food left by 8 A.M. Our room faced the inner court-yard where there was a large pool, unfortunately, the sound of children playing and screaming could be heard at all hours of the day through our window. read more

It was so beautiful and CLEAN. I would have rated it at least 4 stars... not 3 or 3 1/2. It was so wonderful and the free breakfast was a huge plus!

This hotel is old and in need of new furniture to fit the modern travelers needs it could sure use some AC too!

New hotel. Everything is nice. Very clean. Lots of parking in basement.
Bit far from beach and boardwalk attractions.

More expensive than many in area but worth it. Rooms are smallish, but everything is new and very up to date. Breakfast was good and choices are more than expected. Pool is in center of facility, outdoors with its own supply of towels.

Sign wasn't very visible drove right by.

This Holiday Inn Express was excellent. It was 2 months old, very clean and very nicely decorated. It had something several guest commented about at breakfast. An Ice cream vending machine. Great for kids of all ages, Midnight munchies, etc.
