The Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Scottsburg is located off I-65, exit 29, and St. Rd. 56. We are only 30 minutes north of Louisville, KY and 80 miles south of Indianapolis, IN. Wireless Internet access was difficult to access.

There were only 2 problems I had with the hotel, but both were major for me. First of all, They did have free wireless Internet service, but it was only available in the lobby or in room via a cable. I couldn't get the cable to work (and spent a lot of time trying with different cables provided to me by the front desk) so I had to go to the lobby. I had to change locations several times in the lobby before I was able to get it to work. I did not like working in the lobby. The second problem was that I had to remove a cockroach that I found marching across my bed sheet. Alamo refused to give me my Rapid Rewards credit with Southwest Airlines Since I am struggling to qualify for my Southwest Airlines Companion Pass, every point is valuable to me. read more
