Hair on sheets and smoke smell in the room. Was told on check out that room would be comped related to difficulties. Did not follow through.

Liked overall appearance upon entry.
Hard to locate. Not pet friendly.

Good first impression at check in. Room clean with comfortable bed. It was in my error that I did not realize this hotel was not pet friendly. As pleasant as my stay was, I will not be back in the future.

Clean, quiet, accessible.
Pool & hot tub were cold.

My visit was just ok. Have stayed here before and was satisfied, but this time the indoor pool water was like ice and the whirlpool was only lukewarm. Spoke with desk and they were supposed to turn up heat, but the next morning it was still ice cold. I went there specifically to swim with my grandson. Not sure if we will stay there again.

The bed and pillows were really comfortable.
The complimentary breakfast, while the selection was better than average, it lacked taste.

The room and bath was clean and comfortable. The vanity is separate from the toilet/shower which is nice for two people getting ready.
It was next to a highway under construction, but we requested a room on the opposite side of the hotel which was not a problem. My only complaint was the breakfast. They boast hot buffet but it didn't taste very good. I'll stick to the cereal and bagels next time or go out. read more

Great breakfast.
Front desk staff did not exhibit professionalism.

Hotel was clean; physical property was up-to-date and attractive. Front desk clerk who checked us in violated several privacy rules of Holiday Inns and general security (saying room numbers out loud, and offering other information about customers out loud).

Attitude.

The room was located directly above a busy doorway.We could hear the door close all evening and early morning. The hotel was not full; there was no reason to place us there. Staff appeared to be much more accommodating to the business travelers.

Terrific staff and breakfast bar was GREAT.
The stairwells were very hot which makes me think they would be cold in the winter.

Overall, we loved staying at this hotel. The room was VERY clean and comfortable, the microwave and refrigerator were a great addition to the room. Some construction issues made it somewhat difficult to maneuver around town. The pool area was clean and pool towels were provided. The hotel was very clean overall and the staff was friendly. We really enjoyed the breakfast bar. Getting up to a fresh, warm breakfast when you're on the road is such a welcome change from the bad pastries and stale coffee that other hotels call breakfast. We especially liked the biscuits and gravy. read more
