Three miles to downtown and Texas State University. Four miles to Prime and Tanger outlet malls. The hotel has 106 excellent rooms featuring two queens, kings and suites. The room was nice and clean.
The breakfast was not the best. Yogurt, bananas and fat free milk were the only healthy items.

The staff was incredibly helpful. Check in was very quick and accommodating.

This is an old style Holiday Inn, not a typical holiday inn express.

I have stayed at several holiday inn express locations and most are high end. This location is not. It is an old Holiday Inn charging express prices; More like a Red Roof Inn. My favorite was the sign in the bathroom asking guests not to steal the towels.

Nice continental breakfast, good location, nice beds, clean.
Small elevator, odd entrance to hotel.

Great stay for San Marcos. Clean rooms, easy - light breakfast. Has everything you need and the rooms are clean.

Check in process was extremely quick, well managed and the staff greeted new arrivals with How can we help with your stay in San Marcos?
Lots of young kids from some sporting event in area running up and down halls.

Close to outlets.

The hotel was a great place to stay for us because it was close to the outlet mall. The room was very nice and the beds comfortable. The breakfast was great. We will return when we go back to the mall.

Like everything about this hotel.

Short stay, but a very pleasant experience. Hotel was exceptionally clean. I will definitely be staying here during my next trip.
