Location in Fisherman's Wharf was very good.
Concierge in the main building was very rude to us.
If you chopped the price like William Shatner tells you to do you probably will be assigned a room in the cheaper 1-star at most Beach building. In addition we were given the a first floor room with no view next to the lobby probably the worse room in the house. We also were subjected to a surprise $39.09 per day charge for parking the car. The concierge in the main building was rude to us. He ignored us and instead attended to two women who were staying in the main building. The main building has a nice restaurant our building had a Denny's. They also ration the soap and the shower head was broken. The hotel was very clean. read more

Covered parking but most expensive in the area.
The HI was very nice. Its overflow is a shabby old place.

Great location, walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf.
Over priced Denny's in their Beach Building lobby.
Lovely rooms and spacious restroom.

The bed was comfortable.
The hotel was old, steal and kind of lower class.
I would not recommend this hotel. Although the bed was comfortable, the overall atmosphere was a bit depressing.

Convenient location.
The carpet by the window was wet and even after it dried it was sticky.
This hotel seemed fine but we've been in some Holiday Express hotels that were much nicer than this and we thought it was supposed to be a step up. The main problem was that we really were disgusted if we went barefoot on the carpet--it was all sticky. The management said we could change rooms but we had already unpacked. The single sink had a very small area for putting your washing supplies. read more

Location to sightseeing.
Basically a basement room. Across from main hotel, no access to concierge, without crossing street.
Felt as though I was put in 2nd rate hotel. Room had small window looking out at sidewalk with only legs of people showing while walking by. Very claustrophobic definitely not what I expected.

The proximity to Fisherman's wharf.
The room, the view, and the beds.
Do not recommend going through Priceline. It seems we were punished for the rate we did get on Priceline. My husband is 6'3" tall we got two full size beds in our room, we given no choice as to the bed we needed. Bathroom was tiny, beds were uncomfortable and we had a view of the trash dumpsters and some parking.
