the location
they treated us poorly

after booking the hotel on priceline, i immediately called the hotel and requested two rooms next to each other and double beds in each room. they told me no problem at all and they made a note of my requests....when we got there, they said they were forced to "upgrade" us, what that means is they took away our double beds and placed the two rooms several floors apart from each other. the "upgrade" also meant they gave us one king bed in each room and what they called a kitchen (which was disgustingly dirty)... i told them we needed the double beds and they told me i had no choice and had to take what was available. this hotel needs to be honest with people when they call in advance with requests. when checking out, i talked to another employee and he said i shouldn't have agreed to the upgrade and i should have did a lot of screaming... this is not acceptable and guests should not have to barter and become abusive to get what was promised to them... the guy that registered us basically said something about what do i expect when i got the hotel using an internet service, that next time i should call in advance or arrival if i had special requests...i said i did!! and he said either take the room or you will have to go somewhere else... i already paid for the rooms! this is no way to treat people. read more

Everything was beautiful.
My stay wasn't long enough.

The bed was a piece of heaven. It was like sleeping on a cloud.

The staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel is next to a fire station & train tracks which is noisy at night.

The staff were friendly and quick to process the check in and check out. The proximity to the fire station and train tracks is noisy at night. The bathroom was clean with a nice shower but the room was dusty in the corners and a little outdated and worn but overall a good value for $61 a night.

Nice clean rooms. Decent location.
No free breakfast. Major construction going on.

Friendly, helpful and professional staff. Large and clean rooms. Price is decent for area. Good location. It would be nice if they would add a free breakfast into the price.

The pool temp was warm; great for kids.
The carpet is getting old; there was dust and dirt under and behind the bed.

Very pleasant atmosphere, lobby was clean, modern - upscale. The rooms we had need a good a cleaning but were passable.

Nothing.
Maid service very poor.

The first room given, had a large stain in the middle of the room's carpeting. The second room had a large chip in the bathtub's enamel along with mold in the caulking around tub. After returning to our room from a day sightseeing, we found the maid had pulled the covers over the wadded up mattress pad that wouldn't stay in place because the sheets were too large for the thin mattress. The mattress was higher on the feet end for some reason. The cover for the wall air-conditioner was off. The foot stool for the chair was stained. The maid failed to empty the ice bucket or replace used coffee. Not very satisfied. read more

Good location easy parking.
Against bare foot carpets felt unlearned in some time and odd room cover smell.

Ok. The hotel is under construction and its 2 star condition is probably a reflection the pending renovations. Once the finishes are updated, the hotel will easily be a 3 star. Great location.

Location.
The front desk staff could be friendlier.

The room was a little dingy. I know that the hotel is being renovated; however, the rooms should still be kept cleaner with fresher sheets and pillow cases.

Great lobby.
They did not have my reservation when I checked in.

Good quality. Comfortable. They gave my reservation to someone else though. That was a very negative experience.

The public areas were very attractive.
The bathroom was very small and plain.

Overall, it was adequate. The staff was particularly pleasant and friendly.
