The bar had a great band.
Difficult to get from lobby to room. Room smelled like smoke.

Hotel is across the street from the beach in Galveston. The quality of the room was below average. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bar had great entertainment.

My toddler got sick in the crib they provided. We called the office and they replaced it immediately.

Good location, friendly and accommodating staff, clean rooms.

Balcony door opened to a fabulous beach front view.
Out-dated furniture, wet carpet and broken elevators.

This hotel is typical for Holiday Inns, don't let the resort addition fool you. The location and balcony views are unbeatable at this price, but beware that the rest of the room and hotel leaves much to be desired. The staff was very friendly and informative. The lobby appears to be the only renovated part of this hotel, although the pool was large and sparkling clean.

Even though we had a partially obstructed view from the balcony, most of the rooms have an unbelievable view of the ocean.
The bathroom did not have an exhaust fan and the mirror stayed steamed up.

Employees at the front desk were very nice and helpful. The view of the Gulf of Mexico was amazing. Room was cleaned and restocked regularly. Very nice landscaping. Plenty of stores and dining places were nearby.

The location was perfect; walking distance to what we needed.
Mosquitoes were bad that weekend.

The staff was very friendly, the location couldn't be better, the pool was very nice and the room was clean and very comfortable - slept like a baby.
