very close to Gatwick airport
the hotel only had a public bus shuttle to the airport, which was VERY expensive

The hotel is nice and in a convenient location. However, the hotel does not have its own shuttle to the airport. It is a public bus that services several hotels around the airport. It is very expensive (3 Pounds or 5 Euros one-way) for transporting you only a mile to/from the airport.

Found desk staff pleasant but not from or familiar with area.

Like Hotel and area. Transportation to hotel from airport is overpriced. Staff very pleasant but not well versed on the the area. (Most staff from other countries and hotel did not seem to provide orientation of the area to them.)

Location was very convenient to Gatwick airport, particularly with the shuttle service.

Check in staff was friendly and helpful, quick to make a change to our room when we weren't happy with the first. Dinner was better than expected for a budget hotel however the breakfast buffet was average at best. Hot breakfast buffet is 14.95 GBP when purchased in the morning, or 9.95 GBP if you prepay when checking in. We weren't told there is an express breakfast option available (pancakes, toast, coffee, cereal) for 5.95 GBP which I would have opted for if I knew. We slept well in a comfortable and mostly clean room (housekeeping could have done a better job) with no noticeable traffic or airport noise. read more

Nothing.

Loved how easy it was to get out of the airport and a shuttle was already waiting to take me to the check-in. Clean place and great buffet!

Nothing to say as everything was good.

Very good value for over night stay at airport. Shuttle service every 15 minutes from the hotel to the airport. Good value for the money.
