Holiday Inn Hasbrouck Heights/Meadowlands

The hotel is located in a quiet and convenient area. It was very easy to commute to and from New York City. It was about 15 minutes away. One of the most outstanding features of the hotel is the restaurant. The breakfast menu was excellent. A child eats free with each adult purchase. It was definitely family friendly.

It is unfortunate that this hotel is located in a not so nice neighborhood, and the lobby is very small. Other than that, the rooms are very nice, clean fully equipment. If you don't care about the location, then this is a good hotel.

The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom counter space was a bit on the small side and could use updating. The beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly.

We were very disappointed upon our arrival to this hotel off the busy highway in a not-so-nice area. The police car in the parking lot was our first indication that this wasn't a child-friendly place. The lobby was crowded and loud at 10 at night and the front desk staff was not accommodating our request for adjoining room, despite the fact that I had called well in advance to request them. Our rooms were across from each other, the sinks were cracked and dirty and the overall feeling was that we couldn't wait to get out of there. read more

Its a good hotel for some one on the fly on a business trip, its OK for the Family with kids as it a Mac Donalds beside it, very convenient for kids food. Not for extended stay though.

The stay was perfect for what we were doing. Spending days in the city and having a clean, safe and affordable place to sleep at night. Hotel staff was both friendly and helpful. Pool area was clean and relaxing.

When I checked in there was no double bed available, therefor I was assigned a King. The next day I asked for a roll away bed and I was told there was a charge, but they could give me another room. This was after midnight and with a small child in tow, I was not too excited to hear that I would need to change rooms to get the additional bed. The new room, had no microwave and refrigerator. The toilet had the slowest flush ever known to man. The electrical outlet for the coffee maker was falling apart, I had to make my coffee in the bathroom. In addition to that, the iron did not work. The room service food was very good but the service was not so good. Three days in a row, my order was incorrect. read more

Convenient, decent, but not 3 star quality.

The hotel staff was great, location was great for the price especially. It just seemed outdated particularly in the lobby and lounge. The smell of smoke hit you as you walked in the side door to go to the elevator and followed us right into our room even though it's a non-smoking hotel. Thankful for the cost, it made up for the smell.

This hotel is conveniently located on Route 17 and is very easy to get to. The staff was friendly, but seemed overworked. When we got there, we were given a room with only one bed, even though my reservation was for 2 adults and 1 child. It took a little over an hour for the hotel to give us a suitable room. The restaurant was excellent but a little pricey.
