Original room was unsatisfactory; asked to change rooms. Understand that I could upgrade for an additional $20 total on my bill. In fact, upgrade was twice the price of the total I paid for the room on priceline.com. Manager refused to recognize miscommunication. Housekeeping staff never cleaned the room the entire 3 days that I was there.

Not close to restaurants.

Very clean and friendly staff. Restaurant was lacking but good for breakfast and light dinner, no romance.

Staff was so helpful and friendly. Rooms had been renovated and very nice. Hotel was clean and in a great location next to the Marina. We were able to have a nice long walk in the evening around the Marina. We did not use the restaurant, but the bar was nice. Close to other local restaurants and very convenient drive to Myrtle Beach. Of course, we went to Cherry Grove Beach which was away from the hussle and bussle and very nice there. read more

There was nothing I disliked about the hotel.

This is a nice hotel and not in a congested area so it made going back and forth to Myrtle Beach easy.

Renovated hallways (carpet), layout of rooms, friendliness of staff, one TV had a/v hookup, beds were very comfortable, room service, near the docking.
Limitations in room service menu choices, kitchenette looked economy, bathrooms not totally clean, only 1 TV with a/v hookup, quality of breakfast. food.

I liked the renovations. They made the hotel look upscale in quality, especially when you walk down the hallway. The beds were so very comfortable. The staff were especially friendly and gave us an extension to 1:00 to checkout. The only thing we didn't like was small menu options for room service and the lack of a/v hookups on all TV's. The bathrooms needed better cleaning also. Overall, we would definitely stay again. We felt we received a good deal here. read more

Friendly and helpful staff.
Construction was going on and it was noisy during sleeping hours - workers made it a little creepy.

The overall rating of this hotel was accurate - they had a beautiful view of the harbor and it was a nice relaxing place to a degree.
The hotel was however undergoing construction - when I got back from my business presentation I found workers taking a smoke break on my balcony - they also left their equipment on the balcony that night - There seemed to only be a few other patrons on my floor because it was a high construction floor - I felt a little unsafe because of the workers having access keys into the rooms and feeling like I was somewhat alone on the floors with them - they had the hallways blocked and I couldn't roll my luggage down the hall to the elevator. read more
