Desk clerks very helpful with directions, suggestions for activities, where to eat.
Our room was non-smoking but it had evidently been smoked in! (Not the hotels fault).
Very clean and comfortable, light and airy atmosphere. New carpet, comfy beds, little kitchenette was great for a morning meal. Great for families, lots of children in the pool!

I liked the friendliness and competency of staff, all the amenities in and around the hotel and the convenience of being close to Trans Canada.
All good.
My sister and I stayed here for eight days. It was a perfect location, close to the Trans Canada and easy to access both North and West Vancouver plus greater Vancouver area. Has many amenities on premise and a huge super store across the street with a walk in medical clinic that we used twice. I would never stay anywhere else should I return.

The hotel is very convenient and clean.
The hotel staff should be friendlier and smile more. The housekeeping should clean the room better after each night.
Overall the hotel is very nice. The location is very convenient to go to places around Vancouver. The only thing they need to improve is the hotel stuff at the front desk.

If you are visiting Vancouver this is a pretty good home base.
The hotel only has two elevators. At peak times there are crowds and waits.
Much better than I expected. Staying in North Vancouver allows you to miss all of the congestion and extra parking fees that you would have had if you stayed downtown. Short drive to Lonsdale Quay and beautiful panoramic views of the Vancouver skyline. Easy access to downtown via the Sea Bus or driving over the Lions gate Bridge. Close to Capuano Bridge and Grouse Mountain. Highly Recommended. read more

Attractive lobby and pool area.
Beds were not pillow top like in other good hotels.
Newer, attractive hotel in north Vancouver. Easy freeway entry and exit. Rooms comfortable but not deluxe. Kitchenettes are nicely equipped but make for a small room. Rooms were clean and adequate for a short stay.

It was a classy hotel with nice new facilities.
Nothing.
I recommend this hotel - the staff were friendly, the location provided easy access to sites, and the rooms were well done!

There gave complimentary water bottles which is a nice perk.
It really wasn't convenient to anything notable.
Overall a good impression although the dining facilities nearby and connected to the hotel were sub-par. When I booked the hotel, I did not realize how far away from downtown this location was. Thus it wasn't convenient for me to travel to and from downtown which as a tourist was were most of my sightseeing was. This hotel is more suitable for someone who planned to rent a car to drive around, which was not the case for me. read more

I was traveling alone and felt secure and it was very convenient in a beautiful local. I would definitely stay there again
I enjoyed the use of all the amenities the restaurant staff and food were a good quality and value. It is conveniently located near area attractions which I enjoyed visiting, convenient to downtown but much nicer.

Easy to find.
Pool was closed for renovation during our stay. Not disclosed.
Pretty standard Holiday Inn. Out of the way for Downtown activities but close to Hwy 1.
