Excellent customer service
The tub drain plug didn't work & though a smoking room there was no ashtray, which they swiftly amended

The staff was curteous, friendly and helpful. I had a comfortable, economical stay.

The outside is looking pretty shabby.

It was close to public transportation.
The staff was rude.

The chairs in the room were dirty, the rugs on our floor were old and smelled and the furniture was shoddy & old. The shuttle bus driver was rude wouldn't answer my mother or I when we asked how often the shuttle bus ran, the check in staff was also rude not friendly & had an attitude. We ended up having to change rooms on our last night of a 6 day stay because our room started leaking water from the ac above the ceiling, the only high point was the housekeeper the only nice person & the fact that we were native New Yorkers and was able to have fun outside of the hotel, Don't stay here. read more

The bathroom floor had not been cleaned.

The lobby was clean and the bed was comfortable. I was surprised, given the price of the room, that a fee was required for internet usage. Shuttle service to the airport was great.

This hotel is only useful for staying close to JFK. It's old and the rooms are a bit worn. The airport shuttle runs frequently.
