Nnice bed.
Poor service, broken ice machine, no coffee or hot water for comp cont. breakfast as stated.
Hotel was old, the ice makers did not work on 4 floors; no refrigerator in room, the complimentary coffee and sweet roll in AM was not there; advised staff there was no hot water for breakfast bar and did not offer to help. Had to obtain ice from the bar due to all the broken ice machines; rooms were noisy.

On the waterway was nice.

Breakfast was reasonable and plentiful.
Needs lots of maintenance. Smelled muskie. Room seemed under cared!
Purchased the hotel. Accidentally purchased a smoking double bed room. Called the day of arrival and the person working changed it to a non-smoking (no problem). Arrived later that night and someone changed it back! Had to take the non-smoking. The receptionist was very rude and unwilling to assist. Wont stay there again!

There was nothing I liked about the hotel.
When I arrived they were painting the front entrance and sprayed me with paint.
This was the worst start of a vacation I have ever had in my life. Not to mention for my parents who were staying with me. We were not informed we could not have a pet since it was said to be pet friendly. The manager locked us out of our room when they found out our pet was inside. Also, we got sprayed with white paint when we first got to the hotel. It was bad! The rooms smelled like mold and the carpets were so stained and not to mention the balcony was ready to break. read more

The pool area and restaurant was really cool.
The rooms were two small, over crowded and no walking around space.
Other than the rooms being such a tight squeeze everything else was fine.

The walls in the bathroom were cracked, wallpaper peeling off, exhaust fan didn't work properly and there was a roach in the room. The indoor pool was in an odd place, it was very close to the lobby and restaurant entrance.

The hotel had a great view of the canal.
The room had a wet smell.
Overall, the hotel was great for the price. The hotel was clean and the staff was nice. The lobby area was also a great setup. This hotel is not your resort away from a resort, but for a couple nights in Mrytle, it was great. However, the pool was murky and not inviting.
I didn't get in because of that, but a friend did for 10 minutes. It was the worst part of the hotel.
