Night hotel staff.

Location is very convenient - though a good hike to the Metro station. The night staff and staff over the phone previous to our visit were unwilling to help us accommodate our children in the room. We arrived in the evening and were told there were no rooms with 2 beds. In the morning my husband asked the new staff who immediately (at 7 am.) opened a room with 2 beds that had been vacant during the night. Left a very bad impression for us of the night staff. read more

Business King room was TOO small.

Don't pay for the hotel parking. You can park on the street behind the hotel after 5 pm and all day on weekends. Parking should be free here.

The check-in process was fast and easy. The rooms were clean and nicely furnished.
The pool was covered and remained covered throughout our stay.

I would recommend this hotel. I have paid well for many hotels that were not as nice as this one. My travel to the DC / VA area from New York was to bring my daughter to college, Howard University. When we checked in on Saturday, we were exhausted from our drive and moving her into her dorm. After getting to our rooms, we collapsed on the comfortable beds and enjoyed the air conditioning. The only disappointment during our stay was, for whatever reason, the pool was covered as if the swimming season was over. Over the next four years, I am sure I will be visiting this area many times, and I plan to make this hotel my residence when I am here. read more

Easy metro access. Very friendly desk staff.
Pool closed. We were put in a smoking room and then robbed when moved to non smoking.

The restaurant staff is poor at best and the security of the staff that moves the luggage has a thief within. All others were great.

Checkout was easy and staff was friendly in the morning.
Gentleman working desk at night was cold and unfriendly.

Good location. It was annoying to park, check-in, and then put a parking pass back in my car 3 floors up. AC was below average and room was hot when I walked in. Price was very high for this caliber hotel using Priceline. Location was excellent, with a Mcdonalds located next door.
