Laminate flooring.
Walls are extremely thin and
noise kept us awake.

The walls are paper thin and we did not sleep for the two nights we were in the hotel due to the noise. They placed us beside the ice machine and after complaining the first night they promised to unplug it the second night which did not happen. Noise from rooms within moderate proximity (not only adjacent rooms but rooms across the hall and down a few) can be heard as if they were in your room. When we complained about the thin walls, the girl at the desk simply said we get that a lot. Restaurant offers slow service and lackluster food. read more

The staff were freindly and courteous.
We had to deal with noisy neighbors, you could hear them through the walls.

The overall decor seemed old. The staff were friendly. When we had a problem or question, they took care of it. Surprised that a contintental breakfast wasn't available. While good, I expected a little more given the star rating.

Only location.
Holed bedsheet, dirty bathroom, musty odour in the hotel because of the swimming pool.

Close proximity to Niagara attractions.
Not much in the way of restaurants nearby.

Nice hotel. Hallways need a bit of updating (missing carpet in places, etc.). This hotel is in easy walking distance of the American falls and the Rainbow Bridge to Canada. There is a Hard Rock Cafe nearby, but that is about it for eating options. There was a nice indoor pool.

The outstanding staff in the F & B and the housekeeping areas.
Nothing, I loved the hotel!

Excellent value for the money. Outstanding and seasoned guest service, food and beverage, and housekeeping staffs. Wonderful cuisine in the Pepper tree Restaurant. Overall, an excellent value in every possible way!

Most of the staff was friendly.
Check in person was very short and not friendly.

For the money I paid to stay in this hotel, I expected a clean comfortable room. The hardwood floor was dirty, there was hair on the shower walls, and mildew on the ceiling throughout the room. There were extension cords every where. At one point a lamp went out due to the mattress knocking out the plug. The bed was uncomfortable and did not provide a good night's rest. The check-in clerk was less thank friendly. However, the rest of the staff was very nice. The ice machine on our floor was broken and the only vending machine offered limited choices of drinks. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. read more
