Holiday Inn Omaha Downtown-Airport

Friendly service and nice clean hotel. I know that it was just recently built but we enjoyed the cleanness and newness of everything. For the money, this was a very pleasant experience.

Convenient location. Just drive straight out of the hotel to the airport without turning. Makes it easy for early morning flights.

Excellent experience. Great location off the interstate. downtown with walking distance to stuff. Short distance to the zoo which is where we were going. Very friendly staff. Rooms were awesome. Pool/slide area was awesome! 2 thumbs up.

Clean, safe and new rooms are nicely decorated. Family friendly with food appropriate for all ages.

I was very frustrated with the breakfast situation. I booked expecting daily hot breakfast included in the price of the hotel. But when we checked in, no one said anything about the breakfast. We were in a hurry to swim, so I waited to ask till the next morning. Turns out, the breakfast is in their bar and grill in the lobby, and does not come with the hotel. Separate restaurant, not operated by the hotel. They stopped doing complimentary breakfast in July 2009, even though all their ads still show it. They charge $8 for a pathetic buffet of toast / bagels, cereal, fruit and yogurt. Service for breakfast was horrible - no greeting, had to get our own drinks, etc. I complained based on what I booked, and they gave me vouchers for our meals, but I know other folks were not so lucky. Was very frustrated at this price, that a decent breakfast wasn't included. Hotel staff was okay, but they didn't really seem to care whether we were satisfied - just who seemed more interested in their cell phones. The rooms were quite large compared to other hotels we have stayed at. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help.

The hotel has a fun, modern atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The water park/pool area is amazing. Our two year old grandson loved the water park area and the adults loved the pool/hot tub. It was very convenient to have an on-site restaurant and the food was good. We will definitely stay here again.

The hotel was much nicer than I expected. Staff could be a little more informative, as far as directions, recommendations and such went, they were not very helpful. The water park was supposed to be for hotel patrons only but there were some people there who clearly were not hotel patrons and acted as such. The front desk was told of the unpleasant, rude and very loud behavior but chose to do nothing about the situation. Clearly they were friends of some of the staff. Other than that experience it was a nice hotel. We enjoyed eating at The Union though the waitstaff there was really slow. Even though the hotel was nice the service we received was not worth the amount of money we paid, I would not stay at this hotel again. It was not a very pleasant experience. read more

My family enjoyed our stay at this Holiday Inn. It was a blast for my two year old to be able to play in the water park!
