Holiday Inn Orangeburg

I've stayed at this hotel a few times in the past and swore that I would never stay here again. I actually cut my stay short (lost money) to get out of the hotel.

My opinion of this hotel would come up if they properly fixed all the stains tears and scratches. It needs a lot of cosmetic work.

I expected a 3 star hotel. I am an extremely frequent business traveler and this is a 2 star at BEST. The staff was unfriendly, the guest room key did not work on the doors closest to the parking lot and the rooms felt damp and musty although it looks like they renovated, it was done cheaply. I had to change rooms because my in wall A/C sounded like a train.

My heater/air did not work in my room, only the fan. My business partner said his room was dirty, and that on the second day his personal toiletries disappeared from his bathroom! Used room service trays seen on the floor outside rooms in the morning were still in the hallway after 5 p.m. On both days. I would not choose to stay here again.
