We liked the spacious room, executive king.
No snack or drink machines on our floor. Windows were very tiny with no screens to open for fresh air.

Good location for tourists to walk around. Very quiet area.

The staff at the front desk wasn't very friendly.

I would definitely stay there again. It was very clean and quite. The parking was a little tight in the parking garage.

This was my third stay. Each visit gets better.

This is a hidden gem. I have stayed there three times and each time my room is better. The suites are fantastic! It is clean; the staff is friendly, efficient, and professional. It is close to the river, shopping, businesses; restaurants, bars, and a little off the beaten path. I don't want to let too many people know about this place because then I won't be able to get a room there when I visit. read more

This is an ok hotel. Nothing fancy but it has a good location and is modest in cost.

Great location! Walking distance from every where!
No refrigerator or microwave in the room.

Great location and very comfortable. It would have been even better if they had a mini fridge and microwave in the rooms. Still, I would stay here again.

Our room wasn't ready when we arrived so they gave us an upgrade to a room with a view.
There is nothing I disliked.

This is a great location to see all the sites in Ottawa. Everything is within walking distance. Once we parked our car we didn't use it again until we left.

Didn't receive room I requested.

They did not have requested queen deluxe suit and put me in a room with one king bed. There was 4 of us in the room, expecting a one bedroom deluxe suit (which would of fit us perfectly). Instead, some of us had to sleep on a cot and on the floor. We were very disappointed with this.

Very large room. Great location.
Not the cleanest of rooms.

Hotel was 3 blocks off Elgin, a popular street with great bars and restaurants. I was offered a very large room with a kitchenette. But found it somewhat unclean.I never ate at the hotel, so I can't comment on the food or restaurant facilities.Overall, not a bad experience.

No minibar or safe.

Convenient to everything in Downtown Ottawa, the HI is an affordable option with newly renovated rooms. There was no safe or mini bar, but the hotel is quite nice and restful.

Very good location, staff treated me like a frequent guest, rooms are large.
Bathrooms a little small.

Conveniently located near many interesting sites and shopping, all within walking distance. Parking is $10.00 per night but well worth it. good exercise facilities. very courteous staff. comfortably large rooms.
