Very disappointed. Quality was that of a 1 star. Loud and Smokey room, unfriendly or helpful staff.
I would not recommend this hotel to any body. Location not in the best part of town, staff not willing to correct the problem. Rooms blare and smelled of smoke. Hall activity loud and heavy traffic.

Easy access from the main highway.
This Holiday Inn is clean and the staff was very friendly. It is a short drive from a major highway in an area that is safe to walk around. The only negative was minor. The floor layout will force you to navigate some stairs even if you take the elevator to the correct floor.

Clean quiet rooms, good maid service, nice bar.
Restaurant food sub-par.
Good experience, stayed here in the past, with favorable results. Convenient to the interstate.

I've had better hotels from Priceline for the same cost.

Small fridge & microwave in room.
Getting old, but seems to be well maintained.
Not as modern, attractive, or recently updated as some other alternatives. More of a very nice motel than a hotel. That said, we were very satisfied with the accommodations. Two double beds (comfortable enough), in-room wired internet access, and in-room mini fridge and microwave, which would have made it great for a multi-day stay. Had both an indoor and outdoor pool, but we didn't have time to use either. read more

They would not confirm a non-smoking room, even upon several communications with the manager, staff was very unfriendly.
I would not recommend this hotel for anyone at all sensitive to smoke. The manager would not confirm a non-smoking room, even upon several phone calls. We were told by the manager non-smoking rooms are available, but I cannot reserve one for you in the computer. The staff upon arrival wasn't particularly friendly or helpful, and though we did end up with a non-smoking room, it reeked of smoke so did another non-smoking room our friends stayed at. Sheets were clean, that's a plus, but beds pretty uncomfortable, and the fridge was so loud I couldn't sleep all night, we turned it off finally. Overall, I would not recommend this, even compared to other Holiday Inn level hotels. read more

The linens were crisp.
It felt very standard. It did not feel like a three star hotel.

This was an awful hotel.
This is a very poor quality hotel and was dirty, old, and is simply a hotel to avoid.

Close to child's college.
Spiders in bathroom.
This hotel is certainly in a convenient location with a restaurant and 2 pools - outside pool is only open in the summer, but in Elmira, NY no one is going to swim in an outside pool other than the summer months. Common areas of the hotel are dated, which makes the common areas not appear clean. The rooms were more updated and clean.
