The Holiday Inn South Rochester (Mayo Clinic Area) provides easy access off of I-90 and Hwy 14, located directly across the street from Olmsted County Fairgrounds. The Holiday Inn South is also within close proximity to the Apache Mall, Mayo Clinic Campus, downtown area, hospitals, recreation parks, walking and running trails, Mayo Civic Center, golf courses and Rochester High Schools. The Holiday Inn can accommodate weddings, banquets, corporate groups, room blocks, tour buses and sports groups. Restaurant, Lounge and Outdoor Patio Bar on site are local favorites. Willing to move us to ground level because of wheelchair use after surgery.
No wheelchair access to second level. Waited over an hour for shuttle from St. Mary's Hospital.

Overall everything was just fine. Very pleased that they were able to switch one of our rooms to ground level after my granddaughters surgery. I only wish they would have had wheelchair access to the second level. Security was great, very helpful. Great location. Close to major mall, Wal-Mart, both St. Mary's Hospital and Mayo Clinic. Thank you.

It was close to my meeting.
Felt like 2nd rate guest.

Old holiday inn with dirty carpets, minimal toiletries in room, cheap worn out towels, poor maid service, was not offered continental breakfast because my room rate was not high enough.

Beds were terrible.

Worth the money but my bed was terrible. Unstable mattress and it sloped down toward the head.
