Holiday Inn Rolling Meadows

Our stay turned out as a nice break. The hotel is newly renovated with nice bedding, lighting, and modern bath. Our room also had refrigerator and microwave that was handy. They have beautifully decorated tropical garden with bamboo arts and live plants. I would come back to this hotel when
I am in the area.

We had a wonderful stay with good night's sleep and clean and comfortable bathroom amenities. They also have microwave and fridge in our room that was very handy for our little one. The hotel is close to shopping malls and restaurants in the Woodfield Mall and surroundings. Their local shuttle was a money saver for us.

A great price for this hotel. The room was reasonably clean and comfortable. The wireless internet did not work. My smoke alarm battery started beeping at 7:00 AM for 20 minutes or so. Despite having a do not disturb sign on my door, housekeeping knocked on my door twice in the morning, waking me up both times. I reported all of this to the manager.

Staff was friendly and I did feel safe there since I was traveling alone but the room was very poorly lit and dirty and worn out carpets, bathtub stained and drained poorly. Definitely not a 3 star.

I felt that we were treated poorly and had a room on a very noisy lower level of the hotel.

The staff was very friendly. I had arranged an extended check out time. I had the "Do Not Disturb" sign out, the bolt lock locked, and the safety lock flipped over. The next morning a maintenance man actually opened my door while I was sleeping even though I had all of the above done. The safety lock was the only thing that kept him out. My door was opened a few inches. I was traveling alone and being a female I found this incredibly unsettling. I mentioned it to the front desk and they were very apologetic. It still left a bad impression on my overall stay though. I will still recommend because I have had wonderful experiences previously. read more

The first room we were assigned to have not been cleaned. There was a dirty pizza box in the room, and there were Kleenexes that were used on the counter, etc. We notified the management and they gave us another room we were there for two days and found a pair of socks under the bed, some hair ribbons, and a pair of sun glasses behind the night stand. It was obvious the room had not been cleaned adequately. They were under a remodeling and the access hallways were littered with stuff and equipment but that was to be expected.
