Thermostat was quiet loud.

Receptionist was friendly.
The bathroom. There was a leak from the toilet above.

The room appeared well kept and clean. The only problem was with the bathroom. There was a large wet spot above the toilet which I noticed was dripping water the morning we left. I assume it was from the toilet above us. Also, the faucet initially had some brown water coming out when left running on full hot and full pressure.

Clean, fairly inexpensive, great breakfast, quiet, and comfortable beds.
Margarita's restuarant was bad, too far off from where
I wanted to be (lowell) so poor location.

My boyfriend left his cell phone in the room and housekeeping would not return his calls. when he went up to salem three days later to retrieve it, they did not have his cell phone anymore so he had to buy a new one. Other than that, the hotel was ok. Bad location though.

The hotel is too rough, paint splattering, smashed walls, etc.

Very disappointed I complained and they said there was nothing they could do so we moved to another Holiday Inn at Listow? I stay in hotels about 200 days a year and am tired of hotels not having a good standard.
