Location.
No late after 9 pm quick food near by. Pizza delivered was awful flier was in room.
The hotel is located very conveniently to the freeway and has easy walking access to the market area and the service was great. Do not use the pizza delivery service which has a flier in the room .The food was the worst, pizza we have ever eaten absolutely awful.

Older hotel.
Hotel was not the one pictured on-line. It is a older hotel with a face lift. Chairs had stains on them.

Nice style.
Breakfast $10.50 - no way!
Nicely decorated, but a bit run-down. We had to switch rooms because there was no hot water. Not even warm. The staff was nice and helpful with this. Our next room, however, the bolt did not lock. We were too tired to re-switch again. We will probably not stay here again, but for the price, it was good. The staff was helpful in telling us about the area and providing maps.

Large room. Can use computer downstairs. Not too far from River Walk (1 mile).
Dark rooms. Could be cleaner. Spots on rug. Coffee maker not clean.
This hotel is more of a 2.5 star hotel.

Early morning arrival (2am) gets you the hadicapped room.

Location within 15 miles of everywhere I needed to go.
Noisy people yelling and slamming doors in the hallway woke me from sleep at 1am.
This hotel exceeded my expectations. I wish I could have stayed longer. Rick at the front desk was great. The hotel shuttle took me to and picked me up from the Holiday Inn River Walk where I met friends for dinner. Everyone was so nice and helpful. If I come back to run next year this will be where I chose to stay.

Awesome location, very nice hotel, helpful staff.
No free breakfast.
What a great deal! We loved our time here. There was also a free shuttle that took you to the Mercado or the River Walk. That was great. We were very pleased.
