Refrigerator and microwave.
Refrigerator had to be switched out, did not work.
Overall, the hotel was nice. Refrigerator was broken and had to be changed out. The change occurred immediately. However, the refrigerator had a not so pleasant odor and my food had that bad smell to it. A child woke up screaming at 1:00 a.m. hard for me to go back to sleep. Also, a party was going on late into the night on the other side. My room was located in the middle.

This hotel had attractive public areas, which gave a good first impression. The handicap room was comfortable and well-thought out. The bed had both soft and firm pillows-plus an extra pillow was already in the room. TV and room service offerings were better than I expected. Hotel employees were helpful and polite. Overall, the hotel far exceeded my expectations.

This was a nice hotel. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The room service food was good and prompt.

Many amenities.
Hard to know what dining options were close.
The remodeled Holiday Inn Select is clean, spacious, and has many amenities for the traveler. Staff were friendly, but could have been more knowledgeable about the area.

The rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable.
The bathroom could have been cleaner.
This was a nice stay. I was very impressed with the lobby and staff, but only to find that the rooms were just very typical of an average hotel.

The staff was awesome, making sure that needs were met. They were courteous, gracious, and service oriented.
I would have preferred more shrubbery around the pool. It didn't allow for much privacy for this modest traveler. There were lots of onlookers.
I would stay at Holiday Inn Select again if in the San Antonio area. The beds and pillows were so comfortable, the hotel food, tasty, (breakfast bar and sandwich/coffee shop), and the room tidy - it smelled like fresh laundry when I checked in! Staff were hasty to correct misinformation regarding meal vouchers - when they didn't have to. The only dislike I had was in regards to the conference room where I had meetings all day - the tables were set up in such a way that those in attendance were disruptive to the back 1/2 of the classroom due to having to walk in the middle to the doors for bathroom exits. I felt the table locations were not well thought out. read more
