To close to the navy base. Lots of noise upstairs at 3:00 am.

The beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows. They were not stingy with their towels.
There was not enough parking near my room. I had to park quite a distance from my room. TV was way too large!

Disappointed in appearances and location. The first night at the hotel we arrived very late after a long drive and awoke to find that a water main broke in front of the hotel so in the morning the water was turned off until late in the afternoon. The hotel offered bottle water for brushing teeth etc., or the use of one of their sister hotels for a shower (how convenient would that be). The hotel offered free breakfast at the cafe next door for kids under 12 (we had 3) but the cafe was closed, due to water main break and no compensation was offered. I understand that the hotel is not responsible for the city maintenance, however I feel that some type of compensation should have been offered in order to keep customers coming back and as a courtesy for the inconvenience and displeasure. read more

I was centrally located to where I needed to be and reduced the traffic time getting to the events I was attending.
I got the room next to the water stand for the hotel, it ran 24 hrs kept waking me up. Bad for not changing rooms.

One of the best breakfasts ever!
I did not get conditioner in the bathroom.
The front desk guy was so nice, helpful, and personable. I loved how the bed had soft and firm pillows. The bartender was a great resource for local information. The wait staff at breakfast were very humorous, and a great start to my day. One of the best stays I have had in awhile.

They have done a very nice job of updating the rooms.
The grout in the shower needed updating.

Wonderful, friendly and helpful staff from maids to van driver.
Good location, great restaurant adjoining and
beautiful pool and shuttle to airport every 15 minutes. Attractive rooms, soothing music in halls!

It was conveniently located next to the bay, OB, and the highways.
This hotel offers a friendly staff and nice rooms. The location is convenient for just about any excursion you would like to take in SD. I would stay here again.
