Near freeway entrance.
The hotel is right off the 5 freeway, around 5:00 am you can hear cars drive by. Extremely noisy!

It's located in downtown. Doesn't feel safe to park car on the street. The hotel right next to freeway entrance which made getting onto freeway easy. The lobby very small not a place to take your family for vacation.

Location was great for where we wanted to go in San Diego.
Parking- we had to pay $14 per night for parking and we had to go down flights of stairs because there was no elevator in parking structures.

The hotel staff was nice. Beds were comfortable. Location was great for what we wanted to do in San Diego. The extra fee for parking was my one complaint.

Walking distance to lots of attractions and 5 minutes from the airport
Homeless people in the area around the hotel. Parking was $14 a night.

The location was awesome!
The staff for restaurant were not helpful and not knowledgeable about their menu!

Overall I loved the hotel and would stay there again. It was great for the price. Not so much but the price, I couldn't have asked for a better deal. The pool was super tiny. All the staff was friendly except for restaurant staff. They actually lost our business from their rude behavior. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Also on the bright side the restaurant was very clean. read more

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room.
Restaurant really was more like a lobby cafe.

This Holiday Inn was very comfortable. The elevators were super fast, the staff was friendly and helpful with directions. Beds were comfortable.
