friendly, efficient service; attractive room and decor; very good food and drinks
wine list and knowledge inadequate (list undergoing improvement)

A beautiful hotel with a helpful and courteous staff. Quite a good restaurant with a nice bar (good bartenders). It is in a very convenient location just off I-75. It is close to restaurants and shopping (including a great wine store), and is only about 20 minutes from the beach.

Beautiful building & furnishings, very courteous & helpful staff, excellent restaurant (delicous food & drink; friendly, efficient & helpful service).

The hotel is very attractive and nicely furnished, the staff friendly and helpful. The restaurant has excellent food and prompt, efficient, and helpful service. Outstanding bartender. We plan to stay here again on our next trip to Sarasota.

Overall quality of premises.
Desk personnel a little snooty!

Quality and service seemed to have declined since our last visit. The maid did not leave coffee and the jacuzzi was out of order during our stay.

The moment you step in the bathtub, you will hear the cracking noise because the tub is not properly attached.

Carpets are dirty and old. Furnitures are not updated. Shower curtain is dirty. You will hear the voice of people in the room staying right next to you.

Comfort, decor, cleanliness and location was great!
Someone had smoked in the first room we checked in to but that wasn't the hotels fault.

I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again myself.

The pool and spa were terrific, View amazing.

We were very impressed witha wow factor as soon as we entered the room. The view of the pool and the harbor were magnificent. The sitting area as apposed to a balcony was very timely due to the temperature. Loviness may have wanted an outdoor balcony but she got over it.Eating was very expensive so we went out to eat.

The Jacuzzi, the sheets, the living area.

We came for our wedding night. The staff was excellent, our room was wonderful, it was the best stay ever. I would recommend to anyone.

We didn't get a newspaper outside our door one morning.

Very pleased with the front desk service. Very clean and the king suite room was very nice!
