Location.
Lack of enough elevators.
Location to Turner Field is the reason that I chose this hotel. Only a half mile walk to entrance.

Clean, spacious bathroom.
Poor location; dirty carpet; uncomfortable bed; expensive parking.
I would say it is an exaggeration to call this a downtown hotel, because it's not a all close to the actual downtown area. The beds were very uncomfortable, and the carpet in our room was dirty. Parking at $18/night was too expensive for such a place.

It was close to everything.
The elevators didn't work part of the time.
It was nice but at night it was a local hangout so getting in and out was difficult. One of the elevators stopped working and the other ones slowed way down so taking the stair became the way to get up and down.

Central location to several points of interest.
Limited parking availability.
Located within a half mile of Turner Field, this hotel was ideal for our plans to catch a weekend Braves game. Although the hotel shuttle delivered and picked up at several of the Atlanta points of interest (Underground, World of Coke, Aquarium, Centennial Olympic Park, etc.), the location was within walking distance of these sites. All in all, it was a great weekend.

Though it was cold, the parking guy outside was quite friendly which lead to a continued friendly experience throughout our stay.
As I checked out at the front desk, the friendliness ended a bit; agent preoccupied and felt like "oh well she's checking out anyway".
Overall, the experience was great and more than anticipated. I lived in Atlanta 20 years ago and that hotel existed and wasn't sure what to expect. I would stay there again and have spoke highly of our experience there already to friends and family.

The complimentary shuttle service.
Loud occupants from 4 am to 6 am- we couldn't sleep that night!
Don't know how you can keep from having loud guests, but I did report the problem to the manager. He apologized, but that didn't give us back the lost sleep. Otherwise, the staff was accommodating, particularly the shuttle service staff.

Price of the room and shuttle service.
One bed not made upon arrival, uncaring/rude staff.
Overall cleanliness and room above average. No TV remote in room. One bed was not made up. Some of the staff seemed as if they would rather be elsewhere/were not interested in answering questions.

Every single employee was very friendly & no attitude! They were great!
They did not get our reservations right along with lots of others who arrived that day. Example: Reserved 2 beds but only 1 king available.
The lobby and facilities were not very impressive, but when we got to the room, it was very nice. We ate at the breakfast buffet- excellent, but expensive. The courtesy van was always available and very willing to take us to America's Mart.

Waking distance to Atlanta Braves stadium.
Staff was rude; we were charged a high daily rate for parking.
I would stay at this hotel only if I were planning to attend a Braves game and spend one night. The stadium is the only thing within walking distance. There are no restaurants nearby, and the area isn't very attractive. You are charged a high price for parking.
