Doubletree Hotel Cleveland Downtown/Lakeside

Hotel was perfect for my needs.

Our room was not thoroughly cleaned as we found garbage behind the dresser and some loose change in other areas. The food that was served for breakfast was not of quality the fruit was not fresh and the eggs tasted like they were powder. The cost was over priced for what they served. The first day only two elevators out of four worked and on the second day all four of them were down. The toilet in our room kept running we did notify the front desk of this before we left. One thing I can say is the staff was very polite and helpful. We did like the fact that there was a shuttle service and used it twice. read more

Very nice hotel, recently redone, smelled a bit like smoke, but we enjoyed our time.

Nice, modern decor in rooms. Large bathrooms. Free wifi that actually works! Breakfast at the in hotel restaurant is moderate.

This hotel was
OK. The hotel was completely booked for our stay, the elevators were slow we had to use stairs most of the time. In the room the bathroom were very small, and several electrical outlet were loose, my curling iron kept shutting off every time I moved it. I moved it 3 times and ended up doing my hair over the desk.

The room was very nice, as well as the hotel staff. However, the hotel is not sound proofed. We were kept up very late with noise in the hallways. Then we were up at 5:45 a.m. with loud music blaring from the tailgaters for a football game. I realize you cannot control other events, however, the hotel should have some type of sound proofing so that music playing a couple of blocks away does not sound like a radio playing in your room. Lack of a nights sleep negates all the good things about the hotel. read more
