The member of staff from Bulgaria that worked on reception - excellent ambassador for the hotel.
Room dirty and internet connection impossible.
I had to move on after one night - the room was filthy I do not understand why the charges for internet use are so high in the UK - the service is free in hotels in the states. If it had not been for the help of the member of staff mentioned above I would not have been able to do anything online that night. As a single female traveler I did not like the atmosphere of large crowds of drunk men in the bar - most of whom appeared to be blue collar workers. Consequently I spent most of my time in the room. read more

Staff was great very friendly and helpful.
Shower/tub tiles not clean, nasty and cracked.
Good location for highway access and Chester itself. Flexible to turn sofa bed into 2 beds for older kids.

Convenient location, good parking, and a bus stop out front.
This is an old Truste House Forte Hotel and it is very outdated by today's standards. The exterior is shabby.
Like many hotels that bear the once proud name of Holiday Inn, this hotel is past its prime. The exterior of the building needs immediate attention. They did seem to be working on the interior and it was much improved since my first stay a year ago.

The bar is open late.
The bartender was grumpy.
This hotel is outdated and needs a face lift.
