A wedding party that lasted until 3am. They woke me up.

The hotel itself was pretty nice. The other guests were quite loud. The walls are pretty thin. I could hear the people above me stomping around and the people next to me were having a party in their room. I had to call the front desk twice at night to get security to quiet them down. The Hotel was very conveniently located. Right next to down town Traverse City. It also had great views of the bay area. read more

Within walking distance of downtown area and lovely view of lake when outside the hotel.
Room had view of 2nd story roof which blocked out the lake. Entire hotel needs updating especially because of room rates. Motel 6 would have been better.

Beach, location, friendly staff.
Way over-priced for 3-star hotel. Large windows overlook parking lot (1/2 bay view from the room, but full room view from the ground)

This hotel is not really bad. It is typical 3-star hotel and meets 3-star expectations. I thought it was a bit over-priced for 3-star hotel. I think it is perfect for business trip, but it wouldn't be my choice for the wedding or romantic getaway. I'm a girl, I was traveling by myself, and it was my first time in Traverse City, so wanted to feel safe during my trip. This hotel was a perfect place to stay for me as it has lots of light inside and outside, friendly staff, and it is close to downtown. But now I know the area, and will try other cheaper options next time. read more

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The beds were very comfortable and the pools were great!
It is time for the bathrooms to be remodeled.

Location - very close to everything
Room was outdated

Hotel was fine - little outdated. One thing that really stinks about booking this way is that you get 'stuck' with a room. We got put in a smoking room with two queen beds. Seems like you could work with your partners a little better and try and at least give people the choice of what type of room. I know - you save money which is nice but still.

Location was great. Staff was great.
Room smelled. Previous guests clothes left in bathroom. Attached to public balcony.

The hotel location was great but it was old and we did not like our room.

Beautiful location.
Smoke smelling room.

We got a smoking room. I told them we wanted a non smoking room. They apologized but did not give us any other options.

The walls were thin. We could hear the conversations taking place next door.
